Hello, I'm Kim
I design and deliver courses around creative writing and wellbeing — sometimes the craft of it, sometimes the comfort, and often an intuitive blend of the two. What I've found, over years of writing and teaching, is that those two things belong together. Putting words on a page sharpens a skill and steadies something in us at the same time. My workshops are built on exactly that: small, generous groups where beginners and seasoned writers sit side by side, and where the work and the writer are looked after in equal measure.
I don't teach writing from the outside. I come from an education background, and since 2021 I've ghostwritten memoirs for LifeBook UK, helping people shape a whole life into a book. My own work, under my own name and my pen name, has appeared in publications worldwide, as has the ghostwriting I've done across various genres. Teaching grew out of that practice: everything I bring to a workshop is something I've had to learn, and use, on the page myself.

I also qualified as a counsellor during lockdown, which is where the idea of Writing for Wellbeing for born.
I came to this work because I've felt, first-hand, what writing can do — the way the right ten minutes with a pen can untangle a difficult week, or a single honest sentence can shift how you see things. I wanted to make room for that: spaces where people write not to perform or to be marked, but to think, to rest, and to find out what they have to say.
